Connecting an AI Assistant

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to your Nurexify account to ask questions and pull real reports in plain English.

Applies to: Client AdminOpen in Nurexify

Nurexify can connect directly to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, so you can ask plain-English questions about your business — "what's outstanding this month," "any pending purchase orders," "how many units are available" — and get a real, current answer pulled live from your own account. No developer needed, and no raw data ever leaves your account without your own login.

Who can do this

Client Admin.

Connect an assistant

Go to Settings → Developer & APIs → AI / MCP Access.

  1. Copy the Server URL shown there.
  2. In your AI assistant's own connector setup (for example, Claude's "Add custom connector"), paste that URL and follow its sign-in prompt — you'll be redirected to a normal Nurexify login screen, then asked to approve access.
  3. Once approved, the assistant can immediately start answering questions using your real data.

You never see or handle a token for this method — it's the same kind of sign-in you already use every day.

Alternative: access tokens (for scripts or advanced setups)

If your assistant doesn't support sign-in directly, generate a personal access token from the same screen instead, and provide it as a header named x-api-key in the assistant's connector setup. Tokens are scoped to specific areas (see below) and expire automatically after 90 days.

What it can access

Every connection is scoped to specific areas, chosen when you connect or generate a token:

  • Procurement — vendors, purchase orders, work orders, invoices, and payments
  • Sales & CRM — leads, bookings, customer payment status
  • Reports & Analytics — the full management reporting catalog (see below)

An assistant only ever sees what its own connection is scoped to — a connection without Reports & Analytics access, for example, genuinely cannot see financial reports, even if asked.

Reports available

Once connected with Reports & Analytics access, an assistant can answer questions covering:

Sales & Inventory — bookings trend, unit availability by project/tower/floor, project performance

Collections — collection summary, overdue payments, collection efficiency, aging receivables, cash position

Procurement — pending purchase orders, PO status summary, pending work orders, work order status summary, pending invoices, invoice status summary, payments made, vendor performance, retention held on POs

CRM — lead funnel by stage, channel partner commissions, top channel partners by volume

Financials — profit & loss, balance sheet, financial ratios, GST liability

Operations — support ticket overview, audit summary, Tally sync health, staff headcount by department, staff attrition by reason, and an overall pending-actions view combining follow-ups, overdue accounts, and open tickets

You can also ask for a combined view — for example, "show me sales and collections side by side for the last 6 months" — and the assistant will build a dashboard from these same reports rather than needing each combination pre-built.

What it can't do

Connections are read-only for reporting. An assistant cannot create, edit, approve, or delete records through the Reports & Analytics scope. Some record-level lookup and action tools exist under the Procurement and Sales & CRM scopes (for example, checking one specific purchase order's status) — these follow the same real permission checks as the Nurexify app itself.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → Developer & APIs → AI / MCP Access and use Disable MCP access to turn off every connection immediately, including tokens already in use — not just future ones.
